Choco Mucho secured the last Finals berth after sending Petro Gazz out of title contention, 23-25, 26-24, 25-19, 25-20, in the semifinals of the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Sunday.

Sisi Rondina poured a conference-high 32 points built on 30 attacks, one block, and an ace, to go along with nine digs and seven receptions, allowing the Flying Titans to finish the round-robin playoffs with a pristine 3-0 record. The Rebisco-backed squad also dragged the Angels down to a 1-2 slate.

With the victory, Choco Mucho set up a rematch with defending champion Creamline in the best-of-three title series, which will go into full swing on Thursday, May 9, at the same Cubao venue

The Flying Titans brushed aside an opening-set hiccup before kicking their offense and defense into a higher gear and turning back the Angels in front of 17,834 spectators.

Isa Molde also made her presence felt with 18 points on 13 attacks, four blocks, and an ace, on top of eight receptions, while Maddie Madayag pitched in 11 markers.

Cherry Nunag anchored above the net as well with four of her seven points coming from blocks for Choco Mucho, which strung 15 excellent sets from Mars Alba.

On the other hand, the Angels, who started off the round-robin semis with a win over Chery Tiggo, could not salvage their title hopes after consecutive losses to the eventual finalists.

Brooke Van Sickle paced the losing side with 21 points, all but two coming from attacks, while Remy Palma and Jonah Sabete managed 14 markers each.
