NU, FEU each go for the jugular against their respective foes in Game Two of the UAAP men’s and women’s volleyball finals.
The NU Lady Bulldogs and the FEU Tamaraws will be trying to close out in their finals series against the DLSU Lady Spikers and the NU Bulldogs, respectively, as Game Two commences at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Wednesday.
NU will try to reassert mastery over La Salle and clinch their third title in the last four seasons.
Vange Alinsug will be expected to play supporting role to graduating stars MVP Bella Belen and Alyssa Solomon.
But La Salle, buoyed by Angel Canino and Shevana Laput, will try to keep themselves alive and force the winner-take-all Game 3.
Over on the men’s side, FEU will be hard-pressed to clinch their first title since Season 74 by dethroning the NU Bulldogs.
Amet Bituin hopes to star for the Tams anew against the force of Leo Ordiales and Buds Buddin at the NU side.
The Bulldogs, who are looking for a historic fifth straight title, will be hard pressed for a victory and drag FEU into the deepwater.
