Reigning MPL Philippines champions Team Liquid ECHO thwarted Mynamar’s Falcon Esports with a 3-1 win, securing a semifinals spot at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 

 

In game one, Team Liquid ECHO rampaged against Falcon Esports, pulling off a lopsided 11-3 kill score. 

 

Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz on Chip enabled Liquid ECHO to swiftly engage in team fights. 

 

Falcon Esports found an opportunity to turn things in their favor during a skirmish at the top lane at the nine-minute mark, but Liquid ECHO responded with a 2-1 trade.

 

Falcon Esports held tight, but Liquid ECHO drew the first blood of the series after being unstoppable during the 18-minute base siege.

 

Karl ‘KarlTzy” Nepomuceno on Julian was hailed as the MVP with a 5-1-4 KDA. 

 

In game two, Liquid ECHO had the same narrative of aggressive playstyle, overwhelming Falcon Esports for another lopsided kill score of 14-1. 

 

Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales on Roger clawed his way for a “legendary” kill score and a highlight-worthy triple kill play during a team fight at the seven-minute mark.

 

Jaypee on Kaja led the charge for the Cavalry to a match point, delivering a flawless 0-0-12 KDA and 86% kill participation. 

 

In game three, Falcon Esports flipped the script, giving Liquid ECHO a difficult time with Tigreal and Terizla for crowd control and counter-engagement plays.

 

Meanwhile, Falcon Esports refused to back down, getting the upper hand in the early game with crucial pickoffs and team fight initiations. 

 

KarlTzy on Akai pulled off epic Retribution plays to steal the lord from Falcon Esports during the 10-minute and 15-minute marks.

 

But the moment of truth arrived following Falcon Esports’ crucial three-man pick-off against Liquid ECHO during the 19-minute period skirmish at the top-lane jungle area. 

 

Arkar Bhone “RoyalMilk” Pyae on Terizla spelled the difference for Falcon Esports with 4-1-8 KDA, saving one match point against Liquid ECHO.

 

Falcon Esports dealt Liquid ECHO’s first game loss in this year’s MSC campaign. 

 

In game four, Liquid ECHO went all out for revenge against Falcon Esports, not conceding any deaths for a flawless 11-0 score. 

 

Bennyqt displayed impressive marksmanship on Natan, with a perfect 5-0-3 KDA.

 

Liquid ECHO now await their opponent in the MSC semifinals, which is set on July 12.
