WHAT'S UP, GUYS?

First off, a profuse apology: We weren't aware that there was more to Ray Parks Jr. showing off his tickets to Bruno Mars' concert on Instagram last Saturday. Our journalistic skills (or sheer lack thereof) failed us.

As some investigative netizens zealously pointed out, Parks' precious tickets were allegedly for a special someone who didn't hide her desire to watch the pop star next month at the Philippine Arena.

Well, on Monday, it seems like Parks practically made it official that he's courting her. Wait, not just official—make that IG official! Cue whatever sound effects vloggers use these days.

The versatile guard, who plays for the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins in the Japan B.League, posted a video of him and vlogger Zeinab Harake with the caption: "New line of work 🤪." He was helping fix Harake's hair with painstaking, delicate, love-na-love strokes that would make the late Vidal Sassoon (look him up, young people) proud.

At one point in the video, Parks said, "Buti na lang ako 'yung nanliligaw no? Ikaw 'yung walang patience e." Harake responded with what could only be described as #kiligmuch laughter.

After a few pictures of them circulated online, speculations were aplenty that they're in a relationship.

Several celebrities commented on the post, which has garnered close to 78,000 likes, as of press time, including Awra Briguela, RR Enriquez, and Kiana Valenciano, to name a few.

But the best one was former PBA player Joe Devance, who couldn't help but point out something about Parks: "Why yo face like that, bro?"

That, Mr. JDV is the face of a happy man. Who happens to know how to properly comb someone else's hair.

It looks like Parks, who hasn't played since last March 8 due to an injury, is inspired these days. Hopefully, he could play again as soon as possible. But as of now, sa susunod na lang.

As hard-hitting journalists would say, Parks niyanig ang mundo!
