Naoya Inoue is still the IBF, WBA, WBC, and WBO super bantamweight champion of the world after winning his 27th fight, 24th by way of knockout.
Naoya Inoue is too good.
The man they call “The Monster” reigned supreme once again, scoring a vicious 6th-round knockout of Luis Nery Monday at the Tokyo Dome to keep his Undisputed Championship in the super bantamweight division.
Inoue bucked the first-ever knockdown of his career, bouncing back to drop Nery twice before closing out the victory with the knockout in round six.
The win pushed Inoue to an amazing 27-0 record, with 24 victories coming by way of knockout.
Naoya also kept his IBF, WBA, WBC, and WBO super bantamweight world championships with the win, solidifying his place as arguably the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.
