Prosper had a short meeting with Rhenz Abando and Dave Ildefonso on Thursday.
K-Pop idols? Nope. It’s Tagalog Papi, Lakay, and Air Kimchi.
This trio looked like they’re ready to take South Korea by storm. They do wear their swag well, just look at Prosper's outfit. But really, we're talking about basketball.
Unfortunately, former PBA import Lester Prosper, Rhenz Abando, and Dave Ildefonso are not playing for the same team in the Korean Basketball League.
Abando has been making a name for himself already for Anyang with jaw-dropping aerial acrobats and blocks. Other Filipino players there like RJ Abarrientos (Ulsan) and SJ Belangel (Daegu) are also becoming household names there little by little.
Prosper was a recent addition to the Suwon KT Sonicboom side that is looking to turn its sagging fortunes with a 12-15 win-loss card. The naturalized Indonesian suited up for Terrafirma Dyip in the ongoing PBA Commissioner’s Cup before flying to Korea to reinforce Sonicboom.
Meanwhile, Ildefonso has yet to confirm which team he is playing for in the East Asian nation where K-Pop groups like BTS, Blackpink, and Twice dominate the national consciousness.
But if this post by Prosper is any indication, it looks like the newly-minted UAAP champion will join Prosper at Suwon KT.
