Philippine women's basketball standout Jack Animam will be taking the next step of her career in Europe as she signs up to play in the top French women's league.

Toulouse Metropole Basket (TMB) announced the 24-year-old Filipina will be playing with them as a center and power forward. Animam is expected to inject much-needed energy and firepower for Toulouse, which is sitting in 11th out of 12th place in the Ligue Féminine de Basketball, with nine straight losses and two victories.

And just days after she got her picture taken for a Philippine national athlete ID, Animam is already living it up in France.

Check out her room tour.

Animam previously played for the Shin Hsin University Tigers in Taiwan's University Basketball Association and trained in the United States before signing up with the ZKK Radnicki Kragujevac in Serbia.

She proved to be a key cog for the squad with 13 points and 13 rebounds in her last game back in November 2021 before falling to an injury during a warm-up, effectively ending her 2021-22 season.

Animam though is sure to get plenty of exposure to high level basketball, with France ranked sixth in the world in the FIBA women's rankings.

Plus, it would be interesting when Animama Southeast Asian Games gold medalist in 3x3meets TMB shooting guard Philippine Delpech, who also happens to be a standout for France in the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup last year.
