Take your seats. Class is in session.
The next generation of Blacklist International superstars are on its way.
After cementing their name in the scene, Blacklist International is also pouring its resources in honing the next batch of esports talents.
The competitive Southeast Asian-based organization announced the launch of the Blacklist Academy, a developmental team that will debut in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Developmental League (MDL) Season 1 on February 15.
According to the Blacklist franchise, the group was formed with young and talented players “who will have the opportunity to compete at the highest level.”
“We will provide them the same resources and support as our main rosters, creating secondary teams that can truly #BreakTheCode,” Blacklist International, who has yet to reveal the team members, tweeted.
Not to put too much pressure on the squad though, Blacklist added they are still in the early stages of the program. The Academy is also geared to expand to other esports in the future.
“The winning culture of Blacklist International is something we built from the ground up. It's been earned through years of developing a solid core of players, then combining them with the right system to unleash their potential,” Blacklist International said.
