Filipina gymnasts Levi Jung-Ruivivar, Aleah Finnegan, and Emma Malabuyo are showing what it’s like to be cool gals on the global stage.
From the training grind to glam squad moments, the young Philippine prides are making the most of their journey inside the Olympic village.
Before they head on the Olympic stage, check out their must-watch vids as the fab trio bring the sass, flips, and vibes straight from France.
Who said the Olympics can't be fun?
Levi, along with her roomie, Aleah, shared a hilarious cardboard bed review in their room in the Olympic village.
“So they all come with this bedding, and then, as you can see, this is the actual cardboard. Under there, you can see the base of the bed, and this is the mattress,” she described on her mini-vlog.
Who knew beds could be this much fun as the two jump up and down like happy kids?
Aleah and Emma, on the other hand, are in their vlogger eras, and they did a dining hall food review.
It feels like a throwback to high school because the dining hall in the Olympic village is in a cafeteria-style setting.
Aleah, using her Filipina taste buds, shared that the food there needs more flavor.
“Honestly, the food here’s good. It’s not really seasoned. It’s pretty good. It’s just, probably needing a seasoning a little bit,” said Aleah.
But hey, we’re all about adaptability here!
“Personal preference, that’s me!", she added.
The Filipina gymnast crew gets all glammed up in the beauty salon inside the Olympic village.
It was like a mini retreat in the midst of the Olympic hustle—pampering themselves with fresh cuts, sleek styles, and makeup magic.
Emma, Aleah, and Levi will definitely feel empowered and ready to flip through their routines with confidence.
Having their fellow Filipina gymnasts by their side is everything. Their support, laughter, and endless encouragement lift their spirits higher than any routine ever could.
Before they set foot in the Olympic village, the three trained together for the first time in Metz, France.
“It makes it better to have someone you can look up to cheering you on, and although we are competing individually, we are still together competing as one,” said Aleah.
“It’s not like all people can make it to this level, so having people that understand it and are there to support you is really nice to have,” added Levi.
“It makes the biggest difference when you have other girls just cheering you on; I think it helps me. It also makes me feel confident, and I feel all the love,” shared Emma.
Here's to their journey, united in sisterhood and the pursuit of their Olympic dreams.
