Hoffman was relegated to repechage of the women’s 400m meter hurdle after finishing 8th in her heat Sunday (Philippine time).
Clocking in at 57.84 meters, Hoffman bowed out of medal contention, as only the top-18 racers will move on to the semifinals.
At the time of her heat, Hoffman’s time was 30th in the field. She eventually finished 37th overall.
