Over the years, Kevin Racal has built a career in basketball as a reliable forward for the Converge FiberXers in the PBA.

Now Racal is building his dream home, and he’s entrusting it to architecture and construction firm ARCICON.

Currently under construction, his humble abode has 4 bedrooms with high-ceiling on both levels. It also features a roofing hidden on a parapet wall facade for a "modern and boxy element.”

Racal and wife Sarah only had one request.

“They only requested for a tempered glass element on the balcony and a high-ceiling feature,” architect Angelica Liwag-Ticman told One Sports.

On Thursday, the firm owned by Liwag-Ticman posted on its official Instagram page a photo of Racal and his family during groundbreaking day.

This development came days after the former NCAA champion with the Letran Knights inked a two-year extension with the FiberXers, who reached the quarterfinals of the ongoing Governors’ Cup under coach Aldin Ayo.

Converge is also looking to make a deeper run in the playoffs next season after acquiring Adrian Wong and a first round pick in the 2023 Draft in a trade.

It came with a hefty cost, though, as the FiberXers had to let go Abu Tratter and David Murrell.
