Mariano definitely looks happily married.
Barangay Ginebra San Miguel’s game versus the Meralco Bolts on Wednesday at the UST Gym marked a special night for Aljon Mariano.
Being a former UST Growling Tiger, Mariano had some fond memories both in and out of the court.
To make things more special, UST was the place where Mariano met his former longtime girlfriend, who's now his wife.
In an Instagram post, Mariano posted photos of him and wife Kaye outside the Albertus Magnus Building or the College of Education Building. This was where the two shared a lot of memories back when they were college students.
“11 years ago inaantay lang kita lumabas ng building mo, ngayon asawa mo na ako,” Mariano wrote in his post.
Mariano’s former UST teammate, Kevin Ferrer, also recalled what seems to be like their usual meeting spot.
“7pm Mcdo corner!” Ferrer commented.
Of course, as professional player for several years now, their dates have gone up a notch.
It’s definitely been a long journey for Mariano and his wife, but they’ve shown that they truly are meant for one another.
