The PBA Season 48 curtain-raiser was spectacular to the say the least. The momentous occasion saw the coronation of June Mar Fajardo as a seven-time MVP. Let that absurd feat sink in for a bit. And the first game of the season-opening Commissioner’s Cup tourney featured a 31-point, 20-rebound performance courtesy of Magnolia Hotshots import Tyler Bey.
In case you missed it, the Hotshots defeated TNT Tropang Giga on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, 110-102.
Ushering all that awesomeness were the gorgeous muses of all 12 PBA teams who paraded their beauty and grace during the opening ceremonies. A couple of them stood out in the eyes of netizens and became trending topics online.
One of the two queens hailed by PBA and showbiz fans alike was Barangay Ginebra San Miguel muse Heaven Peralejo.
On Instagram, the sexy actress showed her appreciation for being chosen as an ambassador of the country’s most popular basketball outfit.
“I’m so humbled to represent and stand by the side of these athletes. Can’t wait to cheer for this team on (the) court,” Heaven posted.
Ginebra fan and Instagram user heyneffrey pretty much summed up Team NSD’s thoughts on their new ka-barangay, who wore a beautiful red dress.
“Nag match yung hotness ni idol @heavenperalejo sa color ng GINKINGS,” he commented.
The other queen was pop singer Julie Ann San Jose who’s also known in the showbiz world as the Limitless Star. On Sunday, she was among the hottest topics on X (formerly Twitter) as she represented Magnolia.
