Ginebra prevails in a pulsating Game 6 semis battle against San Miguel and marches on to the PBA Governors' Cup Finals set to begin on Oct. 27.
Ginebra went through a rough time against San Miguel in Game 6 of the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup semifinals on Sunday, Oct. 20.
In the end, the Gin Kings prevailed, 102-99, and booked its spot in the championship round.
There, they will take on TNT in a best-of-seven showdown which begins on Sunday, Oct. 27, at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
Maverick Ahanmisi was hailed Best Player of the Game after scoring 25 points built on three triples.

But it was Justin Brownlee who hit the biggest shots for Ginebra, including the triple in the face of June Mar Fajardo for the 102-98 lead with 1:47 remaining.
Fajardo split his shots from the foul line in the ensuing play, before CJay Perez, EJ Anosike and Jericho Cruz muffed their respective attempts from the three-point area in the dying seconds.
Anosike paced the Beermen with 30 points, nine rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block.
