TNT wants to hoist its second straight PBA Governors' Cup trophy and 10th overall on Friday, Nov. 8.
It is no secret that closing out a series is the toughest thing to do for any team.
So RR Pogoy is making sure TNT is not letting up as it goes for the jugular in Game 6 of the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup Finals against Ginebra on Friday, Nov. 8.
The Tropang Giga are back in front with a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series after prevailing, 99-72, Wednesday night.
“One win away na lang. But itong closing na laro, sobrang hirap talaga ito,” said Pogoy.
“Alam naming hindi ito basta-basta talaga. Kung anong laro namin ngayon, kailangan pa naming doblehin. Kailangan pa naming galingan.”

Pogoy shot 3-for-4 from the three-point area for 16 points for the Tropang Giga, who simply did everything right from tip off to the final buzzer.
But TNT only expects Ginebra to come out swinging in Game 6 with the latter's back against the wall.
The defending champ will be ready.

“Always naman kaming ready, every game. Dapat lang tignan namin ang sarili namin [at] 'wag namin gawin 'yung Games 3 at 4 na sobrang relaxed, walang pasahan,” Pogoy said.
“Basta pasahan lang. I-involve lahat. At saka No. 1, depensa talaga.”
