Ginebra dropped a 23-7 bomb in the fourth quarter and went away with a 94-72 win against Phoenix in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup.
The Gin Kings were holding on to a six-point lead, 71-65, at the end of the third before pulling away in the deciding period.
Ginebra thus raced off to a 2-0 start just two days after opening its campaign against NLEX.
The Fuel Masters, meanwhile, were held winless in four matches.
