Five-time PBA champion Von Pessumal gets to add ‘father’ to his titles as he expects his first child together with wife and Miss World 2017 Laura Lehmann.
Ginebra San Miguel’s Von Pessumal will be entering a new era in his personal life as he is expecting his first child with wife and Miss World 2017 Laura Lehmann, as they announced the pregnancy on social media on Tuesday.
Pessumal and Lehmann welcomed the New Year with a video showing off a sonogram and Lehmann’s noticeable baby bump in the video.
“Our biggest dream come true,” read the caption.
Pessumal and Lehmann tied the knot back in 2021, after getting engaged the year before.
Pessumal’s fellow athletes were among well wishers for the couples, like Converge FiberXers’ Alex Cabagnot and Japan B. League import Ray Parks Jr.
Creamline Cool Smashers libero Denden Lazaro, who was batchmates with Pessumal during their time in Ateneo, also wished the couple congratulations.
Pessumal’s Gin Kings are currently on a two-game win streak in the ongoing PBA Commissioner’s Cup and play on Wednesday night against the NorthPort Batang Pier at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
