Import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson shone for the TNT Tropang Giga as they stay on course for their win-once aim in the PBA Commissioner's Cup playoffs.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson produced a whopping triple-double as TNT derailed San Miguel, 115-97, to boost its chances for a twice-to-beat playoff incentive in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup Sunday, Jan. 26.
Hollis-Jefferson tallied 35 points, 21 rebounds and 10 assists he laced with three steals and a block for the Tropang Giga, who climbed to second at 8-3 behind league-leading NorthPort.
The Beermen, fighting for dear life, tumbled to the 10th spot at 5-7, their fate of making it to the quarters no longer in their hands as they await the results of the final matches of eighth-ranked teams NLEX (5-6) and Magnolia (5-6).
The Tropang Giga will square off with their last prey, Rain or Shine, on Jan. 31 in the closing match of the eliminations.
