What do you want to unlearn?
Holy Week is over, but PLDT High Speed Hitters’ Jessey de Leon isn’t done with reflections just yet.
In an Instagram story on Monday, De Leon asked her fans the question: What do you want to unlearn?
The former University of Santo Tomas stalwart answered first and waxed philosophical, citing toxic positivity and her belief that “success means not losing.”
“I want to unlearn toxic positivity to myself. That the foundation of well-being is more than just ‘staying happy all the time’,” she said.
She added: “We still succeed when we fail and learn.”
The reflection came weeks after the High Speed Hitters came short of a podium finish in the PVL All-Filipino Conference.
While F2 Logistics Cargo Movers swept PLDT in the best-of-three series for bronze, it didn’t dampen their spirits one bit.
In fact, it seems the High Speed Hitters already began work for the succeeding conference.
