Don’t let the cuteness fool you because it really is a warning to the rest of the league.
The PVL Invitational Conference is just around the corner. And perhaps no team is more excited than the Chery Tiggo Crossovers when it comes showing off its revamped roster. On a mission to become serious title contenders once again, the club went beastmode in recruiting top new talents this offseason.
One of those prized recruits is former UST Golden Tigresses ace Eya Laure. The prolific outside hitter from España headlined Chery Tiggo’s massive haul of notable players coming out of the collegiate ranks, which included Laure's UST teammate Imee Hernandez and the NU Lady Bulldogs trio of Jennifer Nierva, Cess Robles, and Joyme Caganda.
The only thing left to see is if they will have the chemistry that will elevate the team, which finished fifth in the PVL All-Filipino Conference.
Well, the chemistry question seems to have been addressed on Monday when Laure shared behind-the-scenes footage of Chery Tiggo’s promotional video for the upcoming PVL tournament.
As you can see, everyone looked excited to be teaming up with each other.
These girls do not only have topnotch skills but also superior swag. Angasan pa lang, champion na.
Kidding aside, the Crossovers’ upgraded lineup is downright stacked. They may be having fun out there on the promo shoot, but once they get down to business, the other teams better bring no less than their A-games.
On paper, the ladies in black and red seems elite. And from the dedication and the team spirit they’ve been showing so far, it seems like they’re immense promise will translate well in actual competition.
