It’s the PVL offseason, or to put it more accurately, it’s almost the end of the PVL offseason. The PVL Invitational Conference is set to commence on June 27, and it’s probably why the players are taking all the time they can to be with loved ones.
On Sunday, PLDT High Speed Hitters Jessey de Leon and Michelle Morente went to hang out with Creamline Cool Smasher Jeanette “Pangs” Panaga and another veteran volleybelle in Kai Nepomuceno. The four consider themselves as Truepa, an obvious word play on tropa. Fans know it: they are the best of friends.
And on Sunday, they showed just that.
In an Instagram story uploaded by Nepomuceno, de Leon was bursting out laughing. Apparently, it was because seatmate Panaga exudes a not-too-pleasing smell.
Panaga, not wanting to admit to any crime, checked on herself to prove she does not have body odor.
Holding out a part of her shirt, Pangs dared de Leon to take a sniff again.
“Ito kasi. Pun***a! Amuyin mo!” Panaga cursed.
The PLDT spiker seems to have relented, only to get on the attack once again—targeting the Creamline veteran’s armpits.
“Oo, pero dito banda? Ang asim!” Jessey told Pangs, eliciting laughter from the group.
“Anong mas maasim, ‘yung manga, o ‘yung kili-kili ko?” A smiling Panaga asked.
As someone who can sometimes get serious and dish out wisdom, de Leon was feeling playful this time and answered Panaga with no hesitation.
“Kili-kili mo!”
Pangs has no need to worry, though, As Morente—her partner—has no problems with it.
