Sundays are easy days. Wait, was it indeed easy?
Weekends usually mean a step back, a reprieve, and a chance to breathe for the regular person. For professional athletes, however, it’s usually the other way around. They play their games on weekends, they go in training during weekdays, and get their rest usually in between.
For the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers, they played on Saturday, and it’s a grueling four-setter against Cignal HD Spikers at that. They managed to snag the win, and the victory may have nudged coach Regine Diego to let them have some free time on Sunday.
Kim Fajardo, the yellow-clad squad’s star setter, made good use of her weekend break.
On Instagram, the former De La Salle Lady Spiker uploaded pictures of her spending time outdoors, in the playground specifically. And no, she wasn’t there to train or play—but to babysit.
In the photos, a wide-grinned Fajardo is seen assisting a little boy in the slide.
“Tito-ing on a Sunday,” Fajardo wrote on her post.
A quick browse through her Instagram, and it’s easy to see that the former UAAP and Philippine Superliga Best Setter has a way with the kids.
It’s also probably why she’s also a good veteran to her younger teammates.
Indeed a Sunday well-spent for KAF.
