Motolite was definitely a fan-favorite among PVL fans back in the day.
Before their leave of absence from the PVL in 2021, the Motolite Volleyball Team housed some of the most talented players in the country.
This includes the likes of three-time PVL MVP Tots Carlos, Choco Mucho Flying Titans spiker Isa Molde, and F2 Logistics Cargo Movers' Myla Pablo and Iris Tolenada, the latter being set to play in the Korean Volleyball League.
Motolite’s best finish came in the 2018 PVL Open Conference, where they placed second just behind the Creamline Cool Smashers.
But what made that team special? Well, former assistant coach Angeli Tabaquero gave us a hint on how the team does their warm ups during training.
On Instagram, Tabaquero shared a throwback video of the team dancing to Jason Derulo’s “Whatcha Say” as part of their warm-ups.
All of the players seemed to know all the moves like real dancers. Quite a sight.
Fans may now find themselves pining for a Motolite reunion soon, or maybe even a return in the league. Why not?
