Education comes first for Fifi and Faith.
Despite bolstering a young squad, the Akari Chargers have proven this PVL Second All-Filipino Conference that they are ready to make that leap into playoff contention.
The Chargers have been led by the likes of Faith Nisperos and Fifi Sharma, who are fresh off their UAAP careers just last year.
But aside from their training and game days, Nisperos and Sharma seemingly haven’t forgotten about their studies—another reason why they are, indeed, role models for young athletes.
In an Instagram Story, Dindin Santiago-Manabat posted a photo of her alongside Nisperos and Sharma, who were both spotted doing their assignments.
“Kaya niyo 'yan! Aral lang kayo diyan,” Santiago-Manabat jokingly wrote in her post.

The two are likely wrapping up their master's degree requirements in their respective schools—underscoring yet again the value of education even for high-profile athletes, like Fifi and Faith.
Despite being busy with their assignments, Nisperos and Sharma have proven to be lethal for the Chargers as they continue their push for a semifinal spot this conference.
Currently, Akari boasts a 3-2 record, good for 7th in the standings. The Chargers, with Sharma and Nisperos among those leading the way, will aim to get back on the winning track when they go up against the Choco Mucho Flying Titans on Saturday, November 11, at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.
So, hopefully, those assignments are finished by that time, especially as that clash with Choco Mucho figures to be a big one for Akari.
