In a late splurge to the 2024 offseason, the Angels unveil the acquisition Brooke Van Sickle.

“An Angel sent from heaven,” the team announced Saturday.

Van Sickle comes by way of the University of Hawaii, where she played both indoor and beach volleyball.

As an indoor volleyball player, Brooke was 2021 Big West Player of the Year and member of the 2021 All-Big West First Team.

As a beach volleyball player, Van Sickle was back-to-back first-team AVCA All-American with Kaylee Glagau, making them the first UH pair to earn the honor in consecutive years.

Her team up with Glagau also netted 59 wins in two years, most by any UH duo.

Van Sickle headlines Petro Gazz’s offseason haul that includes Ethan Arce, Joy Dacoron, Mich Morente, and the returning Myla Pablo.
