A ‘shy’ angel and ‘Superman’ finally met.
Petro Gazz Angels’ MJ Phillips made the most of the opportunity to take a snap with NBA champion big man Dwight.
The 29-year-old middle blocker also brought up jokes with Howard, who is on a two-week vacation in the country.

“Type shiii,” Phillips wrote in his Instagram Story.
Phillips and the two-time defending champion Angels are currently ramping up their preparations for the upcoming PVL Reinforced Conference, which is set to open on Tuesday, July 16.
In hopes of completing an unprecedented three-peat in the import-laden tournament, Petro Gazz tapped the services of former import Wilma Salas, who steered the team to the 2019 Reinforced Conference title.
MJ made her much-awaited return to the country last April as in Petro Gazz’s final elimination game against the Nxled Chameleons.
The Angeles finished the season-opening All-Filipino Conference as the top team with a 9-2 record by the end of the elimination round, only to fail to proceed into the championship round.

Meanwhile, after his stay in the Philippines, Howard is set to banner the Taiwan Mustangs alongside former LA Lakers teammates DeMarcus Cousins and Quinn Cook in the The Asian Tournament (TAT).
He made the announcement last month and will be playing with multiple-time PBA champion Alex Cabagnot in a team coached by former PBA head tactician Chris Gavina.
