The Marina-mania continues.

Tushova erupted with 49 points to will Capital1 to a come-from-behind, 20-25, 20-25, 25-19, 25-23,15-6 victory over Nxled that also allowed her to shatter the scoring record she herself previously set in the PVL Reinforced Conference on Saturday, August 10.

Tushova fired 46 attacks, two aces and a block against the Chameleons in an impressive feat she pulled off just nine days after exploding with 45 points in another five-set win for the Solar Spikers over Choco Mucho.

The Russian import scored on a towering block to tie her previous tally and went on to eclipse it with a crosscourt attack before scoring the last two points for Capital1 to complete the squad's reversal.

Julia Ipac and Iris Tolenada each contributed seven points with the latter adding 17 excellent sets as the Solar Spikers  dominated the spiking duel,  72-56, despite their shaky start and errors that gave away 25 points compared to the Chameleons' 19.

Despite the personal accolades, Tushova remained focused on the team's success rather than her individual achievements.

"All that I want is more victories for my team. I don’t care about my numbers,” said Tushova, downplaying her impressive performance.

Down two sets to none, the Solar Spikers leaned on their scoring machine to mount the fightback and stretch their winning streak to a franchise-best three matches.

Tushova ignited the Solar Spikers' resurgence in the third frame then maintained its momentum with a decisive the fourth set triumph before Tushova turned the fifth set into her personal showcase.

Capital1 thus moved to solo third with its 4-2 slate while sending the reeling Nxled to a fifth-straight loss for a measly 1-5 slate in Pool D.

Jho Maraguinot led the way with a team-high 19 points, while Chiara Permentilla and Meegan Hart added 15 and 13 points, respectively.

The Chameleons could not sustainba strong start, failing to stop relentless surge from Capital1 and Tushova’s unstoppable performance.
