Rachel Anne Daquis is set to make her long-awaited return to the PVL after signing with the Farm Fresh Foxies for the upcoming 2024-2025 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
It’s official.
Rachel Anne Daquis is making her return to the PVL after signing with the Farm Fresh Foxies, the team announced on Friday, October 25.
Daquis last played for the Cignal HD Spikers during the 2023 PVL Invitational Conference. After the tournament, Daquis received an invitation to a coaching camp in the United States, missing out on the 2024 All-Filipino Conference.
The 36-year-old spiker then opened the first Filipino bakery in Spain, pointing to signs that she has left the volleyball scene.
But in a turn of events, Daquis is back in Manila and has signed with the young Foxies squad ahead of the new PVL season.
Daquis will be reunited with her former Cignal teammates Jheck Dionela and Alohi Robins-Hardy.
