While there’s absolutely nothing wrong with grand gestures like fancy dinners or extravagant plans, this power couple chose a different kind of celebration this time.
They decided to focus on each other, enjoying a peaceful, laid-back day together. Because at the end of the day, the greatest comfort they have is being in each other's presence.
In Jessey’s Instagram post, the PLDT middle blocker shared how she and Trina marked their second anniversary.
“Our second yr celebration was simple — skipped the fancy restaurant this time. We wanted something relaxed; di lang because we’re titas na hahhaa kidding aside, but because we were both exhausted from our training,” she wrote.
Jessey went on to explain how their time together reflected the essence of their relationship — built on care, mutual understanding, and constant support for each other's personal and professional growth.
“This laid-back celebration perfectly reflects our dynamic — always caring about each other’s well-being, always making sure we’re both thriving in our careers and personal goals, all while loving and cheering each other on,” she said.
“It wasn't fancy, but it was us — thoughtful and supportive,” she further emphasized.
Although Jessey and Trina come from different sports, their unwavering support for each other remains the foundation of their bond.
From cheering each other on during games to sharing everyday moments, including fit checks and traveling with their favorite third wheel, Mika Reyes, they’ve continued to nurture their connection.
