The Creamline Cool Smashers asserted their dominance over the Nxled Chameleons in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference qualifying round Thursday, Feb. 27.
Top-seeded Creamline cruised past 12th-ranked Nxled, 25-18, 25-17, 25-17, to move to the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference quarterfinals with ease at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig Thursday, February 27.
The Cool Smashers were in control of the match from start to finish en route to securing their seat in the next round where it awaits the eighth seed from the play-in tournament.
To complete the commanding sweep, Creamline turned to Bernadeth Pons and newlywed Michelle Gumabao in the third set.

Behind the duo, the defending champ distanced itself early on from the Chameleons then sustained its charge to build its biggest lead in the frame at 22-14.
Creamline sealed the win as Chiara Permentilla’s attack for Nxled sailed wide.
The Cool Smashers flung 47 attacks, with Kyle Negrito dishing out 15 excellent sets she topped with four points.
Negrito was recognized as the Player of the Game.
