Against all odds, the Galeries Tower Highrisers shocked the Cignal HD Spikers with a thrilling four-set victory in the 2024-25 All-Filipino qualifying round, making their first-ever quarterfinals appearance in the PVL.
The tenth seed Galeries Tower beat the third seed Cignal, 25-17, 25-22, 19-25, 25-19, for the first time since entering the league in 2023.
