Doc Princess Gaiser has a nice ring to it.

That’s close to reality now as the former professional volleyball player graduated from medicine school on Monday.

In an Instagram post on Monday, the former Petron Blaze Spikers libero penned a short message where she thanked everyone who supported her every step of the way.

“Another step closer to the dream, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of my family and friends who kept me going through this roller coaster ride!” said Gaiser, who got her medicine education in the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center.

Her former teammate with the UP Lady Maroons Nicole Tiamzon couldn’t help but be proud.

“Proud of you batch!” Tiamzon commented on the post.

Former UAAP rivals in UST Golden Tigresses standouts Jessey de Leon and Carmela Tunay also chimed in.

“CONGRAAAAATS MY BI!!!!!” De Leon said.

“OMG doc I'm so happy parang tumataas ang BP ko, pa-check naman wahhhh i love you!! Congrats!!!” Tunay said.

The diminutive libero helped the Lady Maroons rise from obscurity, turning the perennial cellar-dwellers to Final Four favorites in the UAAP.

But she ended her UAAP career in Season 79 after sustaining an ACL injury in her left knee in the second round.

After a 10-month hiatus, she returned to action by signing with Petron in the then Philippine Super Liga.

The rest is history. Now she is hell-bent on becoming a full-fledged doctor.

“Cheers to new beginnings!!!” she said.
