Well-deserved, Jerom, well-deserved.
Adamson Soaring Falcon legend Jerom Lastimosa is facing a long road back to recovery after tearing his left ACL completely in what was supposed to be his comeback game from a partial tear of the same ligament.
And that road, unfortunately, can break even the toughest of wills.
Fortunately for the former King Falcon, he is as tough as they come, and there is plenty of reason to believe that he will come back even stronger from this setback.
Even better for Lastimosa, he is trekking that long, sometimes lonely, road with the love of his life—none other than UAAP Season 85 correspondent and now PVL courtside reporter Kylla Castillo.
And the Gilas guard “hard-launched” his and Castillo’s romance on Instagram on Monday night, posting a video montage of their sweet moments together.
“Nasa Morayta lang pala,” Lastimosa wrote in his post, referring to Castillo’s affiliation with the Morayta-based FEU Tamaraws.
Kiefer Ravena, Lastimosa’s Gilas brethren, was quick to the party on this hard launch, but he could simply comment, “Grabe ka, Cuh.”
He did, however, tag fellow Gilas mainstays Calvin Oftana, Cjay Perez, and Scottie Thompson—and Oftana and Perez more than obliged.
“Lumalab layp na si couz!” Oftana said.
“Cuz pag-ibig na ‘yan ah,” Perez replied.
After a trying few months, it is definitely great to see Lastimosa reveling in the good things life has to offer, like love and the genuine happiness it can bring to any man’s heart.
Now, all that's left is for Lastimosa to get back to playing again, so Castillo can start cheering her heart out for her man.
