The Adamson Lady Falcons snatched their second win in the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament after overpowering the UE Lady Red Warriors in four sets, 25-19, 25-19, 26-28, 29-27, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay on Sunday, March 3.

The Lady Warriors, who were without coach Jerry Yee after being temporarily suspended by the league, could not find their bearing early on in the match as Adamson looked poised for a comfortable victory.

But in the third set, UE showed their fighting spirit as they managed to snatch the extended frame, gaining momentum in the match.

After another neck-and-neck battle in the fourth set, it was the Lady Falcons' turn to show their composure as Jen Villegas sealed the team's second victory in the season after a service ace.

Barbie Jamili had a breakout game for the Lady Falcons as she finished with 20 points built on 18 attacks and two blocks.

AA Adolfo and rookie Red Bascon also contributed 16 and 13 points, respectively.

Casiey Dongallo, meanwhile, carried the load for the Lady Warriors with 26 markers.

With the win, Adamson is now 2-2 in the standings at fifth place, while UE slides to 1-3 tied with the Ateneo Blue Eagles.
