Cignal bowed out of the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference on a triumphant note after dispatching league neophyte Capital1, 25-19, 25-18, 25-20, at the PhilSports Arena on Saturday.

The HD Spikers concluded their campaign with a 7-4 record in sixth place, after making back-to-back semifinal appearances in the two previous conferences.

This result marked a significant drop from their third-place finish in the 2023 Second All-Filipino Conference, where they ended with an 8-3 record.

Roselyn Doria emerged as the Player of the Game with 12 points.

Cignal captain Ces Molina also shouldered the offensive load with 12 markers, all but one coming from attacks, while Jovelyn Gonzaga pitched in nine points.

Both teams coughed out the same amount of errors with 18 each, but the HD Spikers asserted dominance in the spiking department with a 48-31 differential.

On the other hand, the Solar Spikers wrapped up their inaugural bid in 11th place, managing just one win in 11 matches.

Jorelle Singh poured a double-double effort of 14 points and 11 digs that went for naught.

Des Clemente managed seven markers, while Ja Lana, Rovie Instrella, and Shirley Salamagos scored four apiece.
