Owa Retamar remains the man for the NU Bulldogs, creating 17 excellent sets while scoring eight of his own--five of them via blocks--against the FEU Tamaraws.
National University's Owa Retamar conducted a masterful performance, setting the Bulldogs to a straight-set victory (25-22, 25-21, 25-20) over the Far Eastern University Tamaraws on Wednesday, April 24, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Retamar's 17 excellent sets orchestrated NU's offense, propelling them to solo second place in UAAP Season 86 men's volleyball.
The win secured the Bulldogs at least a playoff for a twice-to-beat advantage in the Final Four.
The setter also registered eight points, five of which came from blocks.
