Alas U18's Bubay Belen, Chasliey Pepito, Maile Salang, and Lianne Penuliar take the hot seat before their AVC Challenge Cup campaign
Ghenievib "Bubay" Belen has nothing but sweet words for her Ate Bella.
Bubay was joined with fellow Alas U18 Girls Team Members Chasliey Pepito, Maile Salang, and Lianne Penuliar in their guesting in Gud Morning Kapatid yesterday, where they took the hot seat.
The NSNU girls' team libero was asked if there's anything her ate might need to improve in her game.
"Lahat naman po nagagawa niya eh. Yung mga blockings po, spiking, tapos sa receive din po. Lahat po kaya niyang gawin," Bubay admitted.
Holding the UAAP Season 86 MVP in high regard, she wishes also to be a spiker like her Ate Bella.
"Kung tatangkad pa po talaga ako," Bubay said.
Chasliey, the niece of UST Women's Volleyball Captain Detdet Pepito, was also asked the same question about her tita.
"Feel ko perfect na po siya eh," she answered.
Meanwhile, Maile and Lianne draw inspiration from Alas Pilipinas Setter Jia Morado-De Guzman and Middle Blocker Thea Gagate, respectively.
"Si Ate Jia po, sobrang brave niya. My goal is to be a leader just like her, to bring the team together as one this AVC," Maile said about Alas Pilipinas Team kapitana.
"Na-inspire po ako kasi yung tangkad niya, grabe. Gusto ko pong mangyari sa sarili ko na maging gaya niya when it comes to blockings," Lianne explained on her aspirations to be like the UAAP Season 86's Best Middle Blocker.
