Train to Busan: Alas Pilipinas soak in sights before exhibition game in Korea

They rode the train to Busan and they are simply living for it.

The members of Alas Pilipinas Women soaked in the sights of South Korea and shared moments on social media ahead of their exhibition match slated for early Friday afternoon.

The squad posted their complete attendance upon arrival on Wednesday.

  

It's Korea. Of course they got goodies along the way... and took plenty of groufies too.

It wasn't all shopping and goodies though.

Alas Pilipinas also went to Namsung Girls High School for a friendly match.

The Filipinas would also have an exhibition match against Powerful Daegu this Friday, a side event celebrating the 75th year of diplomatic relations with South Korea.

It will also serve as further training for the squad, as the Philippines will host the FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup next month at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

  

The exhibition match will air this Friday, June 7, at 1 p.m. LIVE on One Sports, One Sports+, and the Pilipinas Live app.

The exhibition match has been delayed by an hour due to an invitation by the local government. The game will be expected to start at 2 p.m., Philippine time.
