Petro Gazz's Brooke Van Sickle already has two players she wants to compete alongside should she finally get to play for Alas Pilipinas.
Brooke Van Sickle remains open as ever to making the switch and playing for Alas Pilipinas.
A possible move to allow Van Sickle to play for the national team has recently gained traction following the PNVF’s remark that it will process the Fil-Hawaiian spiker and Savi Davison’s transfers as soon as they commit to playing for the country.

Months after opening her door to represent the Philippines on the international volleyball stage, Van Sickle affirmed her commitment once more following Petro Gazz’s sweep of Capital1.
“I’m definitely grateful that hopefully [I] get the opportunity to be amongst such high volleyball players. It would be an amazing opportunity and such an honor to represent the country,” Van Sickle told reporters.
“As for the process, it’s still going. I’m not sure how it’s gonna go but I’m very open to playing and if I could get the chance then I’ll give it my 100%. As of now, it’s more than just what I want,” she added.
Aside from just playing indoor volleyball for the Philippines, Van Sickle is also open to playing for the national team’s beach volleyball squad.
“I think there’s a lot of opportunities for me here, indoor or beach. If I don’t play indoor, if that doesn’t end up working out then I still have aspirations to play beach volleyball so hopefully, in one of the sports, I can represent this country,” Van Sickle bared.

But should the Alas Women opportunity finally come to fruition, Van Sickle already has two players she’s excited to team up with.
“Just because I see everyone play and I think everyone’s so cool and nice, so I’m kind of fangirling in a weird way that I want to be friends,” Van Sickle laughingly said. “But I would say player-wise, just seeing how Jia was this past summer, just seeing like the type of level that she plays at is really cool and it’d be awesome to experience her one-on-one.”
“I would say also Dawn. I thought Dawn is a super libero like she gets balls that are insane. She’s like a superwoman diving for balls. Typically, liberos and setters don’t get as much recognition and love so in that point, yeah I would say, Jia and Dawn,” she added.
