Aurora Gaming's players and staff expressed their gratitude and confidence in a stronger comeback in 2025 after an early exit in the M6 World Championship.
It wasn’t the ending that Aurora Gaming hoped for when they entered the M6 World Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
After showing promise in the MPL Philippines Season 14 with a silver medal finish, many Filipino MLBB fans were expecting another Philippine final in the global tournament.
However, Aurora was given a rude awakening right away after going 1-3 in the Swiss Stage and were eventually eliminated by MPL Indonesia Season 14 champions Team Liquid ID.
While the exit may have stung the young squad, Aurora players, management, and coaching staff expressed optimism for the future.
In their respective Facebook pages, Aurora Esports and gaming content directors Jonmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna and Danerie "Wise" Rosario expressed their confidence in the team bouncing back in 2025.
“Heads up! Madami pa pagkakataon para bumawi! Kayang kaya yan!,” OhMyV33Nus wrote.
“Atin ang 2025 na to walang aangkin!” Wise Gaming added.
Aurora coach DEX STAR also shared his gratitude for being part of Aurora’s M6 journey.
“Thank you, Malaysia! Thank you, M6! Hanggang sa muli,” said DEX STAR.
Aurora’s Renejay "Renejay" Barcase likewise spoke on their journey in the world championships despite the early exit.
“GG M6 DREAMS NT BOYS!! UNLI BAWI LANG, THANK YOU LORD PADIN,” wrote Barcase.
And of course, Jonard "Demonkite" Caranto gave a nod to Fnatic ONIC PH, the only Filipino squad left hoping to win it all in the tournament.
“Go FNOP! Ipanalo niyo yan,” said Demonkite.
Fnatic ONIC PH will face Malaysia's Selangor Red Giants in the M6 knockout stage tomorrow, December 7 at 3:00 p.m.
