After a grueling stint in the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, where they played a tight schedule and had three straight knockout games en route to the drought-ending gold medal, players of Gilas Pilipinas need all the rest and relaxation they can get.

Following the public adulation, it's also important for them to spend private time. As philosophers profoundly say these days: Dasuuuuuuuuuuurv!

In fact, nauna na si Justin Brownlee mag-chillax.

Kevin Alas is currently on vacation with his wife Selina Dagdag-Alas. And perhaps there's no better place to unwind than in Boracay. One important question though: Hindi ba sila magpapa-braid ng buhok?

Alas played a key role off the bench for Gilas Pilipinas in the Asian Games,  even hitting clutch baskets in their come-from-behind victory over China in the semifinals.

Arvin Tolentino is also spending quality time with his wife and their baby daughter. They flew to Bohol for a much-needed R&R.

Although Tolentino played sparingly, he was still a huge part of the national squad's historic gold medal conquest. No one can take that away from him.

Chris Newsome, meanwhile, dropped by a hobby store and spent time with fans. Someone make Newsome his own Funko Pop!

The two-way guard had a gallant game against Jordan in the gold medal match. His job covering Rondae Hollis-Jefferson was a masterclass on how to play defense, prompting coach Tim Cone to express his full admiration for Newsome.

Newsome also attended a motorcycle event, along with Cjay Perez, Calvin Oftana, and assistant coach Richard del Rosario. A road trip to Tanay in the offing maybe?

June Mar Fajardo, meanwhile, has been doing the most June Mar Fajardo thing ever. After helping Gilas Pilipinas reclaim the Asian Games crown with his solid play in the paint, he's now focused on winning all his Dota games.

While some called for Gilas Pilipinas to just FF the Asian Games following the initial roster brouhaha, The Kraken and company said, G lang.
