Fans got another treat as Gilas Pilipinas held an open practice before flying to Hong Kong for the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers.
Before heading over to a new battle, Gilas Pilipinas under head coach Tim Cone once again had an open practice to give fans a chance to mingle with the national team.
Gilas Pilipinas held court Monday at the PhilSports Arena, giving the public a free session before the national team returns to the same venue in less than a week to host Chinese Taipei in the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers.
But first, Gilas travels to Hong Kong for a road game set for Feb. 22, officially starting window one of the new Asian qualifiers.
Come Feb. 25, the national team will take on the aforementioned Taiwanese at PhilSports for the first home game of the year.
