Thirdy Ravena reacts to Kobe Paras magazine cover story about personal growth

Thirdy Ravena and Kobe Paras have many things in common. They both can get up and dunk the ball with authority. They both have experience playing professional basketball in Japan. They’ve both been criticized by fans and pundits. They’re both into fashion. And most importantly, they’ve carved their own paths towards self-fulfillment and took control of their own careers.

Kobe was chosen as the cover story in the July edition of MEGA Man Magazine. It’s mainly about the 25-year-old high-flyer’s personal growth. It also tackles why he has temporarily stepped away from the game and his inclination to break away from the cycle.

“This month, MEGA Man puts a spotlight on an athlete courageously taking a step back from the life he’s known since he was a kid and is final living life in his own terms,” the magazine wrote in its Instagram post.

Seeing his buddy on a magazine cover, Thirdy sent his friend some love and positive energy through an IG story, featuring a screenshot of Paras on the pages of MEGA Man and a short but sweet message.

“@_kokoparas never change, fam,” Ravena wrote.

Also included in Kobe’s collab with MEGA Man was a video highlighting his other passions such as cooking, fashion, and spending time with family.

When will these two baller friends share the court together? That may take a minute. While Paras is on a self-imposed break, Ravena is in Europe currently gunning for a spot in Gilas Pilipinas’ final lineup that will compete in the FIBA World Cup.
