Jia has been adjusting well to her new team.
Jia de Guzman is slowly but surely getting accustomed to life in Japan as well as playing with her new team, Denso Airybees in the Japan V.League.
What better way to bond with teammates after practice than having them over for dinner?
De Guzman recently posted a vlog on YouTube where she decided to cook two of her favorite Filipino dishes for her new teammates
The former Creamline Cool Smashers star seemed like a natural vlogger as she went through all the cooking preparations to make Adobo and Sinigang.
Later in the day, Jia’s new teammates arrived at her place where they would get to try the Filipino dishes—and it’s safe to say that they loved it.
When asked which of the two dishes they liked more, two went for Adobo, while the other chose Sinigang.
Definitely, bonding moments like this will help Jia, who recently switched her jersye number, build team chemistry faster and make her stay in Japan even more fun.
While PVL fans will miss seeing Jia in action in the country, she’ll still be receiving support as her supporters will try to keep themselves updated with the Airybees’ games.
The Airybees, who placed sixth last season with a 14-19 record, will look to further improve their record this season with the help of de Guzman.
