Filipinas failed to make it to the final round of the Olympic qualifiers.
It was all about learning and growing for Filipinas main scorer Sarina Bolden.
This appeared to be the main takeaway for Bolden after the Filipinas’ campaign in the Olympic Qualifiers in Perth, Australia.
“Learning and growing,” Bolden said in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Although the team failed to make the Final round of the qualifiers, there were definitely gains for the squad which finished second in Group A.
But there’s one thing she seemed to hate in the entire campaign.
“Flies in Perth,” she wrote in the same post with the thumbs-down emoji. It’s fly season in Perth, Australia.
Teammate Angie Beard had a hilarious response to the said post.
“The flies just want to ask you a couple of questions about your car’s extended warranty,” Bear said.
But the learning and growing continue for the Filipinas striker. Right now, the national team duties will take a break as the players focus on club duties.
The 27-year-old Bolden, though, is still without a club. But there’s no doubt a team will sign the country’s top scorer sooner than later.
