Dwight Howard is making sure to maximize his time in the country.
Dwight Howard has been quite busy since arriving in the Philippines.
Aside from his usual training schedule with the Strong Group Athletics (SGA), the former NBA Champion has just been going around doing Dwight Howard things.
For one, Howard met with Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquaio.
For two, Dwight also linked up with YouTuber Cong TV, where the two filmed for their respective vlogs.
For three, Howard has even been spotted in an advertisement with a popular local fast food chicken restaurant.
That’s why for SGA team manager Jacob Lao, Howard has also been somewhat fulfilling the role of the team’s marketing head.
“He's [Dwight] been doing all the marketing stuff,” Lao said in an interview on One Sports’ The Game. “He's been all over the place. I don't think he has rested.”
“Every time na after practice, after game, he would go out and meet some fans. He even did podcast with famous Youtubers and all that, so he's been very very busy,” he added.
Howard, who has also made the push to play in the PBA, has seemingly fallen in love with the country—and so have Filipinos.
But the main goal stands Howard and SGA, and that is to bring home the title from the upcoming Dubai International Basketball Championship set from January 19 to 28.
