And just when we all thought that the best VNL 2024 fangirl competition was over, Alas Pilipinas’ Fifi Sharma was not yet done.
Less than a week ago, Fifi just “hard launched” Japan’s key player, Ran Takahashi, on her Instagram.
It garnered a lot of attention on social media, including from her Alas Pilipinas’ teammate, Sisi Rondina, and BINI Mikha.
Apart from her cool fangirling moment with Ran, she also had an amazing photo-taking opportunity with other VNL stars like the USA's Tj Defalco, Erik Shoji, and Taylor Averill, and Japan’s Yuki Ishikawa and Kento Miyaura.

But Fifi seems to have the ultimate fangirl interaction in this year's Volleyball Nations League in the Philippines.
She just did not have a photo with the team, but she also tried Filipino food with Team USA!

A Philippine visit wouldn’t be complete without trying special Pinoy food, so Team USA tried Napeleones, a popular delicacy in Bacolod consisting of flaky puff pastries with custard filling and sugar glaze.
And Fifi, being a warm host, savored the Filipino pastry along with the USA's standouts, Micah Christenson, Taylor Averill, and Erik Shoji.
“Sorry guys,” she playfully remarked to other Pinay VNL fans.
