Hokkaido outlasted the Sendai 89ers Wednesday at home, taking a hard-fought 97-88 overtime win in the 2024-25 B.LEAGUE season.
Since welcoming back Ramos from injury, Hokkaido has won three straight, including this game.
Levanga thus hiked their record to 5-7 in the East, while dropping Sendai to a 3-8 record following their inter-conference showdown.
Ramos, fresh from a season-high 19 points last time, contributed 11 points for Hokkaido’s victory. Dwight also had six rebounds and six assists.
In other B1 games featuring Pinoy imports, it was a tough out Kiefer Ravena and the Yokohama B-Corsairs, taking a close 80-77 loss to Alvark Tokyo.
Behind Kiefer’s fourth-quarter charge, Yokohama took a 69-63 lead halfway through the final period. However, Tokyo’s finishing kick proved to be stronger to take the victory.
Kiefer finished with 13 points, all in the fourth quarter.
Meanwhile, Ray Parks Jr. and the Osaka Evessa suffered a close 93-91 loss to defending champion Hiroshima on the road.
It was a complete collapse for Osaka, as the team led by as many as 19 points early in the third quarter.
Ray Parks Jr., among the top-10 scorers in the B1 so far this season, scored 15 points in the loss. He also had five rebounds and four assists.
