LeBron James became the first player ever to record 50,000 career points, on the same night the Cleveland Cavaliers and Phoenix Suns mounted gutsy comebacks, while Stephen Curry dazzled in MSG.


LEBRON JAMES SURPASSES 50K SCORING MARK; STEPH CURRY SHINES IN NYC

  • Los Angeles Lakers (39-21) def. New Orleans Pelicans (17-45), 136-115: LeBron James surpassed 50,000 total points – both regular season and playoffs combined – while Luka Doncic registered his first 30-point, 15-assist game, to guide LA’s seventh straight win.

  • Indiana Pacers (35-25) def. Houston Rockets (35-25), 115-102: Tyrese Haliburton went off with 28 points, 15 assists, and five threes — his seventh career game with 25 markers or more, 15 or more dimes and five or more triples — in a convincing home dub over the Rockets.

  • Golden State Warriors (34-28) def. New York Knicks (40-21), 114-102: Stephen Curry scored 20 of his 28 points in the second half en route to the Warriors’ seventh road victory in the last 10 games at expense of the Knicks

  • Milwaukee Bucks (35-25) def. Atlanta Hawks (28-34), 127-121: Giannis Antetokounmpo stuffed the stat sheet with 26 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists for his sixth triple-double of the season in the Bucks’ third straight victory.


CAVS, SUNS COMPLETE COMEBACK, JA’KOBE WALTER WINS IT FOR RAPTORS

  • Cleveland Cavaliers (51-10) def. Chicago Bulls (24-38), 139-117: Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allen paced the league-best Cavaliers in erasing a 15-point deficit to topple the Bulls for their 11th straight win, the third time this season Cleveland achieved such a feat.

  • Phoenix Suns (29-33) def. LA Clippers (32-29), 119-117: Kevin Durant erupted for 34 points and bannered the sixth largest regular season Suns comeback in franchise history, overcoming a 23-point deficit to stun the Clippers.

  • Toronto Raptors (20-42) def. Orlando Magic (29-34), 114-113: Rookie Ja'Kobe Walter drilled the game-winning triple with 0.5 seconds left as the Raptors overcame Paolo Banchero’s 41-point outburst and the Magic.

  • San Antonio Spurs (26-40) def. Brooklyn Nets (21-40), 127-113: Devin Vassell fired career-high numbers of 37 points and eight threes alongside 11 rebounds, five assists, and four steals as the Spurs swept their regular season series over the Nets.

  • Minnesota Timberwolves (34-29) def. Philadelphia 76ers (21-40), 126-112: Naz Reid’s team-high 23 points led seven Timberwolves players in double figures for a third straight victory after losing their last two.
