The Cignal HD Spikers were not to be denied of three straight Spikers' Turf titles after flexing their might against the Criss Cross King Crunchers in Game 3 of the 2025 Open Conference Finals.
The three-peat is complete.
The Cignal HD Spikers once again stamped their class against the Criss Cross King Crunchers to claim another Spikers’ Turf title, finishing with a 25-22, 25-16, 28-26 sweep in Game 3 of the 2025 Open Conference Finals at the PhilSports Arena on Sunday, April 6.
Despite falling short in their comeback in Game 2, the HD Spikers showed no signs of nerves to close out the King Crunchers in the winner-take-all match.
Trailing 16-20 in the third set, Cignal stayed patient in cutting the deficit until Jau Umandal came alive off the bench to tie the game at 23-all.
Chu Njigha would end the run and put Criss Cross to set point, but it was quickly countered by Steven Rotter for the HD Spikers.
Jude Garcia and Louie Ramirez would also exchange attacks in the following plays for Criss Cross and Cignal, respectively.
Tied at 26-all, Owa Retamar and Lloyd Josafat delivered a huge double block on Marck Espejo, before Rotter connected on a down-the-line kill which the King Crunchers could not save.
